Mike has been a photographer all his life. He migrated to professional photography 25 years ago when he began doing weddings, portraits and commercial work. Mike has studied extensively at the New England Institute of Photography. Subjects included advanced portraiture, advanced Photoshop and Painter software techniques.

He has also studied with Helen Yancy, a world renowned expert in Corel Painter, at the New England Institute of Photography and at a workshop in Tuscany, Italy.
